Lockheed Martin Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) in Annapolis Junction, Maryland

THE WORK

• The program is advancing analytical development in sensors, cloud, and actionable intelligence.

• Developing system requirements, functional requirements, and allocating these to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.

• Providing technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.

• Developing Systems and security documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents.

• Ensuring the technical integrity of work performed and results in the Systems Security Engineering area of responsibility.

WHO YOU ARE

• An Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) with DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 2, CISSP Certification is required.

• Experienced with security tools such as NESSUS and McAfee for patching and upgrading.

• Experienced with Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA). Knowledgeable in Secure Trusted Network (STE/STN).

• Skilled in virtualization technologies, specifically with Openstack on MASH (MachineShop) environments.

• Experience with BISCOTTI/LATTEART is a plus.

Basic Qualifications:

- Must possess an active Security Clearance with a polygraph

- Fourteen (14) years’ experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of ISSE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

DoD 8570.01-M compliance with IASAE Level 2 is required CISSP Certification is required.

CompTia Security+ certification

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
