**Talascend is currently seeking a Shipping & Logistics Specialist for a contract opportunity located in Auburn Hills, Michigan
OVERVIEW:**
This position is for a shipping and logistics specialist working within the Prototype Build Engineering group.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitating interregional procurement requests.
- Tracking expenditures between regions.
- Submitting requests for expedited transport.
- Ensuring document compliance for internal and external business partners.
*Â REQUIREMENTS:*
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Engineering, or other applicable disciplines. Other degrees will be considered in combination with relevant work experience associated with logistics.
- Prior related experience in Logistics.
- Strong Leadership and Communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Comfortable with preparing presentations and presenting to all levels of management.
