Philips Supply Planning Manager in Best, Netherlands

Lead all aspects of S&OP and supply planning for the defined business unit. The S&OP Supply Planning process requires a multi-disciplinary approach and knowledge of supply planning principles, theories, and concepts.

Your role:

  • Manage the S&OP Supply Planning process for the Business Unit to include development of overall market supply plans. Creation/refresh of plan weekly/monthly to ensure plan aligned with refreshed customer demand

  • Manage relationship with Markets, Business groups, manufacturing teams and suppliers, linking closely to our slot (order allocation process), linking manufacturing and projected supply plan for orders on hand

  • Support seamless implementation of APS software into MR planning landscape

  • Initiates and participates in BIU and supply chain improvement processes

  • Present and collect feedback and buy-in of senior stakeholders into Supply chain improvement initiatives

  • Define opportunities for improvement driven by operational excellence, customer satisfaction and cost reduction

  • Pro-actively manage the supply chain through scenario mapping and root cause analysis, Look and think ahead and recommend alternatives in case of upcoming constraints

  • Support monthly S&OP supply review with the definition, and review of the supply plan to meet AOP and 18 month rolling integral inventory targets

  • Collaborate with S&OE teams in managing disruption, challenging failures to hit plan and try to mediate solution that does not impact or compromise the customer

  • Monitor over and under consumption of components and capacity, resetting plan as required, challenging these fluctuations where appropriate

  • Prevent customer service issues through effective management of plan and inventory & working closely with global allocation process to ensure supply to critical markets is maintained

  • Manage phase in / phase out process execution from a planning perspective (PDLM) with the aim to phase in new products in-time and phase-out products without obsolete finished products and components

  • Plan, control and maintain the master shipment schedule (MSS), balancing the customer demands, revenue forecast and inventory levels

  • Supply allocation recommendations when orders exceed capacity (production or material availability)

  • Collaborate with manufacturing site / OEMS suppliers to achieve the medium- & long-term planning inputs for S&OP review

You're the right fit if:

  • Degree with +10 years of related experience in supply planning

  • 2 years’ experience leading teams

  • Excellent in stakeholders’ management

  • Effective communication and conflict resolution abilities

  • Ability to influence at all organizational levels

  • In-depth understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices

  • Familiarity with SAP

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide insights into supply chain performance

  • Efficient time management skills to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Meticulous attention to detail to prevent errors and ensure the accuracy of supply planning

  • Experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives

  • Understanding of the specific challenges and nuances of the low-volume, high-complexity industry is a plus

  • Relevant certifications such as APICS (e.g., CPIM or CSCP) are a plus

  • Familiarity with supply chain planning software and tools is a plus
