Shire Early Talent Specialist in Cambridge, Massachusetts

The Early Talent Program Specialist is responsible for support of the Financial Leadership Program (FLP), Information Technology Program (ITDP), and Operations Development Program (ODP) from recruitment, through program management, and eventual permanent placement. These are global Rotational programs designed to recruit, develop and deploy strong talent for Shire’s Tech Ops, Finance and IT functions globally.

Relationship Management:

First line of contact to interns, program members, rotation supervisors and a need interact with program sponsors and leadership teams which consist of senior leaders within Finance, IT, and Tech Ops

Recruiting Efforts:

Support execution of recruiting strategy, plan and participate in initiatives at core schools, on campus events, and participation in the interview and selection process

Rotation Placement:

Support the relocation process (Workday, Relocation, etc.)

Onboarding:

Responsible for the smooth onboarding of interns and program participants, some potential facilitation

Event Planning/Logistics:

Planning of events such as training, leadership coffee chats, team building, community service events, etc. from securing venues or meeting rooms, ordering catering, securing facilitators, sending invitations, tracking acceptances, processing expenses, day of support, etc..

Supporting Early Talent Lead with budget as requested.

Misc.

Preparation of presentations and other materials

Inventory/Purchasing of early talent recruiting swag

Early Talent Metrics and/or Benchmarking Research

Essential: This position requires at least a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. Additionally, the candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of related experience.

  • Ability to resolve problems independently of medium complexity working with colleagues across Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Mobility, Corporate Services, Finance, etc..

Other Requirements:

Domestic Travel up to 10%--primarily for recruiting events.

Cambridge, MA will be primary work location but may need to work from Lexington, MA one or more days per week as needed for program support.
