Shire Forecasting & Analytics in Cambridge, Massachusetts

  • Partner with Brand, Sales and Channel partners to develop customized, strategic outlooks/models for all in-line and new product launches based upon data analysis, stakeholder collaboration and appropriate research; these forecasts are the basis for critical business and investment decisions.

  • Gains alignment for forecasting assumptions from stakeholders.

  • Work the communication and consensus-building process to gain alignment for outlooks within the Franchise, Market Insights, Finance, other functions and senior management.

  • Support Strategic and Long Range Planning processes

  • Work closely with Finance and US Region Commercial Team and GPS partners.

  • Gain alignment on appropriate reporting needs and ensure production/generation.

  • Support the development of strategic recommendations to stakeholders via routine process and ad hoc analysis.

  • Maintain awareness and track all material risks and opportunities that affect near-term (next month), medium term (12-18 months) and long term (10 years+) business performance across portfolio. ). He/she will communicate such risks/opportunities in logical ways to key personnel.

  • Closely collaborate with the appropriate internal stakeholders for Sales & Operations Planning process for franchise. Will also work with cross-functional partners to ensure adequate product supply to meet patient demand.

  • Will develop and monitor appropriate metrics as an “early warning system” to provide timely insights and influence corrective actions.

  • Work closely with sales and channel leadership to understand changing regional and customer environment.

  • Collaborate on technology and data needs with Hematology stakeholders. Partner with US Region Commercial Support teams to deliver on prioritized needs.

  • Maintain awareness and track all material risks and opportunities that affect near-term (next month) and medium term (next 12-18 months). He/she will communicate such risks/opportunities in logical ways to key personnel.
