Job Description:

J&J MedTech is recruiting for a Master Scheduler, located in Cork Ireland

The primary function of the Master Scheduler is to balance demand and supply at the aggregate volume level with that at the detail mix level. This role will lead the site LE process, tracking manufacturing output against NRP (Net Requirements).

Key Responsibilities :

  • Site LE process (owner and chair)

  • Understanding site capacity vs NRP and working with cross functional team to mitigate gaps.

  • Rectify and/or reconcile month to month differences and inaccuracies (e.g. hours, units)

  • Maintain different reporting systems to make sure that all forms of documentation are accurate and timely (e.g. Monthly HBO projection submission, Supply metric submission, MPS, )

  • Leads and identifies improvement opportunities to the Site LE process.

  • Use robust critical Planning processes leveraging Centre of Excellence defined mature processes and collaborating with all functions to execute critical processes.

  • Consensus forecast project C 5

  • Lead interaction with Data Analytics, PP&L, Make, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Source, Plan teams.

Exec & Global Supply Review:

  • prepare updates for identified supply chain gaps.

Inventory:

  • Managing the inventory projections, process, and submission

  • Project team member for LT reduction initiatives (WIP)

  • Leads overall site RCCP reviews (detail managed by relevant Planner and VSM)

  • Leads/Facilitates monthly SRM review meeting effectively communicating to J&J MedTech Leadership team.

  • Ensure compliance with current regulatory standards and guidelines (Quality, EHS, Financial)

  • Support the evaluation of current processes and the transition to improved future processes in conjunction with the wider global PP&L team.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • APICS Certification

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Demonstrated strong leadership abilities, working cross functionally.

  • Must possess good reasoning and problem-solving abilities.

  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate, collaborate & influence across multiple stakeholders & with customers, colleagues, and vendors.

  • Experienced ERP / Planning Systems User, able to execute in an ERP System

  • Applies understanding of cycle time, throughput, labor efficiency, and related concepts to drive alignment with overall Production Plan

  • Advanced data reporting and analytical skills, through MS-Excel (or Equivalent).

  • Strong organizational skills and an aptitude for planning.

  • Driving continuous process improvements.

  • Must possess the required certification needed in fields like supply chain, project management, or business management.

  • A minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar position

Preferred:

  • Green Belt six-sigma certification

Other:

Proficient in English-speaking
