Adecco Search is actvely recruiting for a Process Engineer in Erie, PA. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities for the Process Engineer in Erie, PA.:

  • Develop and optimize injection molding processes for the production of medical devices, with a focus on achieving high-quality, cost-effective manufacturing solutions.

  • Design and implement tooling strategies to support production goals, including tooling design, selection, and maintenance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain, to drive process improvements and resolve manufacturing issues.

  • Conduct process validations, including IQ/OQ/PQ, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, waste reduction, and cost savings through data analysis and process optimization.

  • Lead troubleshooting efforts to address equipment malfunctions, material inconsistencies, and other production-related issues.

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to manufacturing personnel, including training on process-related procedures and best practices.

  • Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to plastic injection molding and medical device manufacturing.

Qualifications for the Process Engineer in Erie, PA.:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) required; advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on plastic injection molding and tooling, preferably in the medical device industry.

  • Proficiency in CAD software for tooling design and SolidWorks experience preferred.

  • Strong understanding of injection molding principles, including material selection, mold design, and process optimization.

  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards, such as ISO 13485, FDA QSR, and GMP.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

Pay Details: $1.00 to $4.00 per year
