Love in the Oven Bakery Bakery Associate in Fargo, North Dakota
Mix and bake ingredients to produce bars, cookies, cakes, cake bites and pops, cupcakes, muffins, pies, and pastries. Package items for weddings, other events, and wholesale order. Deliver and set up for weddings and other events, typically on Friday, Saturday, and occasionally, Sunday.
Specific tasks and responsibilities:
- Know how to operate professional commercial kitchen equipment and tools, including dishwasher, spray sink, disposal, ovens, mixers, dough sheeter, etc.
- Clean kitchen equipment and tools after use, including using sanitizer, brooms, and mops
- Weigh flour and other ingredients accurately
- Ability to read and follow recipes
- Knowledge of math and how to multiply recipe ingredients based on quantity needed
- Adjust oven temperatures and racks to ensure proper baking
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Excellent time-management skills

- Flexibility to work in early morning shifts
- Proactive and not dependent on detailed instructions
- Ability to lift heavy items for an extended time and work with thick batters
