Aerotek Production Technician in Findlay, Ohio

Heavy Lifting is required (Individuals who work out regularly do well here)

Fast start

Description:

Will be working with a team of 5 people in a cell

Company makes forklift attachments and this role is making sure the attachments are smooth and there are no imperfections

Will be responsible for grinding parts, re-straightening parts and inspection

A lot of the work consists of using 6" and 9" grinders, hand grinding to smooth out metal parts

Will also be sliding parts, pushing and pulling parts - the attachments are heavy and this is a heavy industrial facility

Work is heavy lifting and strenuous

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must have at least 2 years of manufacturing experience

Must be able to lift 50lbs repetitively

Must have previous experience with visually checking parts (any ISO 9000 companies is a plus)

Must be open to helping out in other departments when needed

Must be open to working some OT and some Saturdays

Must be able to enter information into a computer and calculator

PLUSES:

  1. experience working with other companies in the area (do not want someone commuting from toledo area)
