Our client, one of the largest Agricultural companies in the U.S., is looking for a Boiler Control Room Operator which is located at Somerset, NJ . The client is seeking a Boiler operator who has Blue Seal Certification

Job Title: Boiler Control room Operator

Location: Somerset, NJ

Pay rate: $30/HR

ROTATING SHIFT 6AM - 2PM

This role requires a candidate with a valid New Jersey state Blue seal license and 3+ years of relevant work experience

Description:

Responsible for documented maintenance of boilers, chillers, HVAC, compressed gases, and water systems.

Ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance tasks (PMs) and immediate reporting of out of tolerance conditions of any device connected to the Building Automation System (BAS).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate and maintain high pressure boilers and auxiliary boiler plant equipment, Centrifugal chillers, towers, and related pumps.

  • Boiler water and water tower test and treatment.

  • Monitoring of the facilities utility plant, air handlers, exhaust fans, manufacturing suites, labs, and office wings for temperatures, humidity, and pressurization, utilizing the Building Automation System. Respond to alarms and equipment failure, notification, and documentation.

  • Ability to analyse problems / failures and respond to restore, repair and or report.

  • Clean water system operation. Softeners, Reverse Osmosis, Lab De-ionized, R.O.D.I. and Purified.

  • Maintain daily logs and equipment logs.

  • Will be required to perform maintenance on equipment. Preventive and reactive.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer.
