Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Indianapolis, Indiana
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - $30.50/HR. - $33.50/HR. STARTING
Description:
Join this maintenance team in our fast-paced, temperature controlled facility. This is a very fast-paced, temperature controlled environment with a lot of moving parts. Safety is paramount. The facility is FDA regulated, so hair nets and beard nets are used. Training takes place during the day. We are currently looking to fill the night shift, but excellent candidates needing the day shift can still be considered. We aim to hire for the night shift and then offer promotion from within to day shift if employees wish to shift.
Shifts Available (2-2-3 schedule) :
1st: 5:45 AM - 6:15 AM, 2-2-3
3rd: 5:45 PM - 6:15 AM, 2-2-3
Starting Pay Range :
$30.50/hr. - $33.50/hr.
Responsibilities:
75% mechanical troubleshooting duties, 25% electrical troubleshooting duties
Maintenance and repair of all production machinery
Electrical troubleshooting and repair of equipment up to 480v
Work with drives, motors, VFDs, 3-phase motors, high speed packaging machines, conveyors, belts, and more
Check fluid levels, work with hydraulics, sensors, switches, and replace filters
If accustomed to PLCs, troubleshooting/repair is nice to have for the role
Follow LOTO procedures and use SAP system to complete PMs around the plant
