JOB DESCRIPTION

Senior Project Lead, Business Readiness and Continuous Improvement

We are looking for a Senior Project Lead who will report to the Team Lead of Business Readiness and Continuous Improvement, Marine Strategic Growth, and who'll be tasked with leading improvement and readiness initiatives. As part of your role, you'll be increasing operational efficiency across all business processes within the BRP Marine Group ecosystem.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Lead and support readiness activities for current and new programs, ensure that the affected members understand their key processes; and have the tools and the knowledge/skills to perform their work.

Identify business requirements that do not exist in the current state and work with the organization - internal and external - to deploy solutions.

Lead projects with functional and cross-functional teams: analyze for correction or improvement opportunities: identify inefficiencies and implement improvement plans to enhance productivity, quality and operational effectiveness.

Recommend, lead and influence the prioritization of business readiness and continuous improvement projects under your team leadership and management.

Equipped with a structured and rigorous DMAIC approach, lead teams to define scope, identify clear measures, deliverables, outcomes, and required resources; complete projects with success.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Required:

Bachelor's degree in a field related to engineering, manufacturing, material planning, supply chain, production, logistics or related discipline.

5+ years experience in continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment; track record with Six Sigma projects and Project Management.

Experience in and desire to learn new IT platforms (specific, a plus): ERP(SAP/Syteline), PLM(Creo/Windchill), Project Management(SmartSheet); Windows and Google applications fluency.

Preferred:

Proven ability to work and collaborate in a complex environment and effectively influence a diverse team of stakeholders and business leaders; understand key business connections among commercial, design and operations functions.

Passion and motivation to influence, persuade and initiate positive change, while pro-actively focused on execution and effective communication across all levels of the organization.

Solid and rigorous problem solving and data analysis skills with the ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Other:

This role requires travel to BRP,US locations approximately 25% of the time.

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is desired; Green Belt or equivalent experience a must.
