Define, deliver and maintain an Analytics and Data Governance roadmap for Global Medical Affairs (GMA).

Solutions and analytics lead for certain GMA functions

Define, deliver and maintain an Analytics and Data Governance roadmap for Global Medical Affairs (GMA).

  • As a member of the GMA Business Solutions team you will work with other team members and representatives from other GMA functions to define and maintain an Analytics and Data Governance roadmap

  • This roadmap will describe the approach, solutions and processes that the GMA Business Solutions team will adopt in support of GMA’s Analytics needs. This roadmap will have to be maintained on an ongoing basis to support new needs, deliver new capabilities, deliver more advanced insights and incorporate more advanced analytical methodologies.

  • You will also design and apply an operating model for the GMA Business Solutions team to maintain appropriate data quality across systems and proactively identify and execute remediation actions

  • You will collaborate with the IT department to ensure appropriate tools and data models are available to GMA Business Solutions team

Define and execute processes for GMA KPIs and metrics definition, delivery and distribution, in collaboration with relevant GMA functions.

  • You will be responsible for designing a process for defining, delivering, reviewing and distributing key GMA KPIs and metrics.

  • As part of this activity you will be building dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools (e.g Qlik).

  • You will also be responsible for maintaining a KPI and data dictionary.

  • Based on your understanding of GMA’s activities, goals and data, you will recommend relevant KPIs or metrics, or identify remediation actions to ensure requested KPIs can be delivered.

Solutions and analytics lead for certain GMA functions

  • Using business intelligence tools available at Shire you will build and deliver dashboards and reports for certain GMA functions.

  • In some cases you will help these functions determine their requirements for the transactional systems they currently use or need to deploy to operate. You will also be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of solution enhancements in collaboration with IT and vendors.
