The City of Moorhead Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for the following positions at the Hjemkomst Center
IMMEDIATE NEED: Building Attendant ($16.00-$18.00)
Part-time temporary year-around position. Hours may vary based on building schedule but will generally be weekdays, late afternoon into early evening with occasional weekend daytime hours. Duties include general building cleaning, set-up and clean-up of meeting facilities, opening/closing of building, snow removal. Must have good communication skills and reliable transportation. Some heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. Age 18 or older.
Lead Building Attendant – Hjemkomst Center ($20.50-$22.50)
Part-time temporary year-round position is responsible for the various maintenance and landscaping tasks for the Hjemkomst Center; including opening building as directed, preparing facility for staff and customer arrival, cleaning the facility, setting up for meetings and maintaining the grounds by the use of landscaping and snow removal equipment. Monday – Friday days, with occasional early evenings. Flexible. Approximately 30 hours per week. Occasional weekend work for assistance with festivals, boiler checks and snow removal. Must have good communication skills and reliable transportation. Some heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. Age 18 or older.
