Job Summary

Primary Role

  • Consolidate and increase market share and leadership of lysosomal storage diseases status along the next years

  • Maintain the brand among the growth objectives established

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive market preparation activities in local country

  • Leverage BU centrally-driven programmes and implement these locally

  • Develop local market-preparatory initiatives, consistent with product(s) strategy

  • Develop and implement local brand plans, consistent with BU strategy

  • Lead LOC cross-functional planning team to ensure LOC needs are addressed (LOC Medical, P&R, etc)

  • Identify local knowledge gaps and drive market research strategies to fill these

  • Engage and actively participate in EU-wide planning teams / ICTs

  • Ensure LOC GM is directly involved in strategy and programme development

  • Develop product forecasts in conjunction with Franchise Head and Finance

  • Develop relationship with key stakeholders (including non-healthcare professionals) and manage specific activities with each of them.

  • Coordinate with other members of the Franchise in the execution of Franchise plans/activities and portfolio management.

  • Develop and manage relationships with external support agencies (e.g. creative agency, PR, etc)

  • Manage LSD / GD Franchise A&P budget

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Scientific or business degree, with good academic qualifications

  • MBA, Master or complementary education

  • Fluent English

  • Proven professional success and positive appraisals from previous jobs


PM Experience

Sales experience and / or experience in rare diseases will be specially valued

Key Skills and Competencies

Accuracy and precision in written documentation (WORD, POWERPOINT)

Good knowledge of MS OFFICE software, including MS EXCEL

Demonstrable ability to present to large groups

Excellent cross-boundary communication and collaboration skills
