DH Pace Company, Inc., aspires to hire an experienced Commercial Entry Doors New Construction Outside Sales in Atlanta, Georgia. Manage Sales Process of Entry Door Systems and Commercial General Contractor Relationships. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Sell doors and door-related products: Hollow Metal Doors and Frames, Wood Doors, Specialty Doors, Door Hardware, and Electronic Hardware. Responsible for obtaining and closing new construction sales projects and managing the sales process. Will achieve sales objectives by working in concert with estimating and Operations team from beginning of sales process through project close outs. Identify and strategically evaluate new construction projects; participate in QandA estimating discussions, technical project reviews, pricing and negotiations; and manage all contractor follow-up during and after job has been awarded, lost or job canceled. Evaluate, review and negotiate contracts during duration of projects to ensure scope of work and pricing are in-line with Contract Terms and Conditions. This position may be asked to estimate their own projects and is responsible for all project management of jobs sold. Manage bid list, active jobs in process and maintain CRM system with daily project communication updates. Other related responsibilities as assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have New Construction General Contractor experience in some role. Must have Entry Door Systems knowledge. Project Management, sales, estimation experience to general contractors are encouraged to apply. Bachelors degree preferred but will consider high school diploma coupled with commercial building products outside sales experience calling on general contractors. Must be proficient with Windows based programs and sales tools (CRM) and experienced with reading and understanding Blueprints/Plans and Specifications. Successful completion of references, employment verifications, background check, and drug screen required in advance of hire; must possess a Valid Drivers License and good driving record.
