Shire Account Lead - Czech Republic in Prague (Baxalta), Czech Republic

The Account Lead job level in SEEMEA is for sales professionals with excellent success records, whose role includes significant project and other work undertaken in the country.

  • To work and connect with all involved national and local parties and arrange follow-up on treatment of patients with Shire products.

  • To promote our products as defined by the company, to healthcare professionals in relevant target groups in territory.

  • To maximize the business benefit, sales and profit, through the local implementation of Shire marketing strategy by organizing all necessary contacts and activities in collaboration with Sales & Marketing Manager and within the agreed promotional and cost budget.

  • Participation/Lead in projects as defined by the national, country or Business Lead management. Job Duty and Description Proactive surveillance of pricing environment and support local country head to maintain reimbursement within defined price range. Support HCPs to obtain individual patient level reimbursementOpinion Lead and Key account management in specialized treatment centers, support and leverage customer connectivity locally and internationally, Product promotion at scientific events.Plan promotion with management of local investment budget, coordinate demand planning with local wholesaler. Plan and record activitiesObtain, share and leverage competitive market intelligenceInitiate and organize medical education activities to increase disease awareness and support product promotion.Minimum:

  • University degree in Medicine/Biology/Chemistry/Pharmacy or equivalent

  • At least 3 years of sales experience in specialized prescription pharmaceutical business and hospital sector.

  • Excellent expertise on the Croatian health care system

  • Fluency in Croatian languageDesirable:

  • Experienced in Key Account and Hospital Management.

  • Commercial and marketing experience in pre-launch and launch activities with particular

  • emphasis on hospital selling

  • Intimate knowledge of the Croatian pharmaceutical industry‚Äôs code of conduct and compliance regulations

  • Existing contacts with specialists in relevant specialties treating rare diseases

  • IT skills (MS Office literacy minimum)

  • The candidate has to be organized and able to manage project in result-oriented manner.

  • He/she should also be able to work on his own without daily guidance/support from superior to achieve our goals.

  • Good in speaking and writing English.

  • The person must decide on his own travel/visit plans in the territory and where to set priorities in customer support to achieve our goals.
