Microsoft Corporation Senior Product Manager in Redmond, Washington

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the Minecraft Online team to focus on multiplayer products and initiatives that deepen our community’s engagement with Minecraft. The ideal candidate has worked with teams of engineers, designers, and artists to create high quality games or experiences. They love bringing definition to complex technology projects and are an proficient at navigating ambiguous spaces. They have significant experience in cross-team collaboration, communication, and influencing for impact. Their technical expertise and attention to detail enables them to identify risks, drive development with predictability, and challenge how we work to continuously improve. Responsibilities

  • Drive definition and alignment on engineering team's priorities and scheduling, facilitate scrum ceremonies;drive execution of development roadmap and lead feature definition and scoping; ensure teams understandgoals and manage delivery through all phases of development.

  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across the organization: engineering teams, design, player support,data analysis, marketing, release management, and other Microsoft teams to deliver complex programs, toensure quality, coordinated feature releases, and to address player pain points.

  • Drive development of product vision, including determining market fit, business plan, technical plan,dependency management, marketing and operations.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience as a technical program manager or product manager in consumer-facing software

o OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years experience in running multiple or larger technical software development projects (entertainment or gaming preferred)

End-to-end experience developing a product, from concepting through release and sustained engineering/live operations

o OR equivalent experience.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
