Shire Account Lead, Siberia/ Novosibirsk in Remote, Russia

Territory of responsability : Novosibirsk, Ekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Tomsk, Omsk, Kemerovo. 50-70% business trips.

Primary Duties

  • Deliver marketing, medical and disease awareness goals of the business

  • Promote products assigned to GI BU as defined by the company to clinical and non-clinical staff in allocated clinics within the territory, including: product detailing during daily visits, group meeting presentations and events

  • Develop and manage relations with Key Opinion Leaders in the territory, local Health Care Authorities and treatment provision chain

  • Support HCPs activity aimed on new patients finding with relevant diseases in defined geographical areas, and to organize referral to treating centers.

  • Monitor relevant tenders in the region and support distributor’s participation

  • Secure retail availability of relevant products in the territory and monitor pricing

To organize all necessary contacts and activities in order to achieve company goals in close collaboration with BU Head, Medical and Marketing functions, within the agreed promotion budget


80% - Visits and activities with own customers (HCPs, Authorities, Key OLs, Distributors, Patients Organizations, Payers)

20% - Administrative work

Education and Experience Requirement


  • University degree in Medicine/Biology/Chemistry/Pharmacy or other life sciences

  • Strong proven attitude for Biotech/ Hospital/ Specialty products promotional field work and willingness / possibility to travel

  • Experience of successful territory management for a period not less than 2 years

  • Analytical and challenging mind

  • Commercial awareness

  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills

  • Self-starter mentality


Connections with specialists in one of the following areas: anesthesiologists, oncohematologists, resuscitationists, hematologists and/or others according to the marketing strategy and Patients needs

  • Knowledge of hospitals/ medical centers/ health care system structure in the territory

  • Knowledge of KOLs in the respective areas in the territory is a strong plus

  • Medical and Field Management experience in the medical area

  • Detailed understanding and demonstrated success in Key Account Management as a means of delivering results

  • PC user at a regular practical level

  • Acceptable business English level

  • PhD in the relevant areas is a plus

Other Job Requirements

  • Driver’s license mandatory

  • Ability to travel throughout own Federal District and selected cities from other Districts and to Moscow

  • Participation at the meetings in Russia and abroad

  • Russian as mother language

  • English language skills to allow efficient participation in product training in the disease area and sales meetings/ trainings in English is preferable
