We have an exciting opportunity to join Teva as an MSL to cover Southern Spain area(Andalucía, Castilla la Mancha, Extremadura, Murcia and Canarias).

This is a field based medical role responsible for engaging with healthcare professionals (HCPs) in the assigned territory through appropriate high level scientific exchange of information, education, publications, evidence generation and other such non-promotional medical affairs activities in a fair, balanced, credible and non-promotional manner.

You will be homebase/fieldbased travelling. Living in Andalucía is desirable.

How you’ll spend your day

  • You will be focused on many therapeutic areas such us CNS, Psychiatry, Digestive... among others

  • Significant changes in marketing authorization (in relation to safety in particular)

  • Scientific publication relating to the therapy area or a product

  • Provide legitimate and balanced scientific support to HCPs who act as speakers at Teva sponsored meetings

  • Clinical trial coordination and evidence generation:

  • Work closely with Teva clinical operations to identify/propose potential study sites for Teva sponsored studies and contribute to any necessary follow-ups

  • Conduct clinical trial site visits to provide medical support and handle any potential trial related queries where appropriate

  • Serve as a first point of contact for HCPs proposing investigator sponsored studies (ISS) and acts as a conduit between Teva medical affairs and the HCPs, by providing updates on progress and communicating the decision in a professional manner

  • Internal collaboration

  • Identify and map key external experts/ institutions in specific disease areas and share the information appropriately

  • Contribute to the development of brand medical plan in line with the brand strategy and effectively execute the plan at a local territory level

  • Keep a breast of the evolving evidence in the areas of critical interest to Teva and ensure this is shared with appropriate personnel on a regular basis

  • Take personal responsibility for updating knowledge on an ongoing basis and share learnings and best practices across boundaries with the wider team

  • Act as a primary or secondary medical scientific educator for members of the sales force in updating them on any disease state, therapy area, Teva products, scientific updates, reviews and so on

  • Identify unmet medical needs and contribute to the development of the medical plan

  • Maintain compliance

  • Be fully aware of and abide by the requirements of the local country code of practice including but not restricted to maintaining high professional standards of conduct, in line with company policies and procedures with a duty of care to the reputation of the organization

Your experience and qualifications

Do you have...?

  • MD, Pharm D, PhD or another Life Sciences degree

  • Evidence of successful career in an MSL role within the pharmaceutical industry

  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory process, local/ national healthcare economy and the pharmaceutical industry code of conduct

  • Deep understanding and thorough knowledge of the relevant disease area, CNS / Immunology (desirable, not a must)

  • Fluency in written and spoken English (a must)

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Knowledge, ability and willingness to engage with customers using traditional as well as novel digital channels

  • Excellent IT skills with the ability to work effectively with and leverage modern technology

  • Full and clean driving license issued by the relevant local government authority

Please note that this is a field based role with significant domestic (and occasional international) travel exceeding 60-70% of the work week and occasional weekends for conferences/ meetings.
