Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Content Marketing Specialist to join our team and report directly to the Senior Content Marketing Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of our content marketing strategy, which aims to educate and engage our target audience within the software testing industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing skills, a passion for storytelling, and a keen understanding of digital marketing principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating high-quality written content assets—including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and ebooks—that resonate with our target audience and address their pain points and challenges.

  • Create and post organic social media content that aligns with quarterly content priorities and proactively monitor social media channels for opportunities to engage with customers and prospects.

  • Oversee the creation and distribution of regular content-driven email campaigns to help foster engagement with resources like webinars, ebooks, new product releases, and the TestRail Academy.

  • Assist with content and copy edits on testrail.com .

  • Assist with coordinating marketing events and overseeing event logistics and administration.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content calendars and ensure timely content delivery aligned with marketing campaigns and initiatives.

  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform content strategy and development.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including product management and customer success teams, to gather insights and information for content creation.

  • Assist in tracking and analyzing content performance metrics, including website traffic, conversion rates, and engagement metrics, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

  • 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, or related field

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging content for different target audiences.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to brand guidelines and style standards

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), email marketing platforms, and social media management tools (we use WordPress and Hubspot).

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track and interpret content performance metrics.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

    Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with B2B SaaS products.

  • Experience marketing and managing events. 

  • Knowledge of software development and testing.

  • An eye for design and experience with tools such as Canva, Figma, or the Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Knowledge of basic HTML, CSS, and web design best practices.

  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics.
