Job Title: QC Laboratory Analyst Job Function: Quality Control Analytical Chemical Testing in an FDA Regulated environment. Job Type: Full time contract, minimum eight months. Shifts: Second, third and weekends. Location: Jayuya, PR (On-Site) Scope of Job
RCM is looking for QC Laboratory Analysts to perform routing chemical analytical testing in an FDA regulated environment for our client located in Jayuya, PR.
Primary Responsibilities
Performs chemical and physical testing of raw material, water and in-process samples using compendial and client methods.
Knowledge of basic wet chemistry testing using instrumentation such as; IR, uv/vis, Karl-Fisher, polarimeter.
Recognizes and reports unexpected or non-compliant results, as well as non-routine and product-related analytical problems; recommend solutions.
Performs maintenance of analytical instruments and troubleshoots them, if necessary.
Communicates clearly and accurately the results of the work creating documentation of the tests and analyzes the results obtained.
Records and reports test results in accordance with prescribed laboratory systems and procedures.
Prepares and assists in the presentation of documents that support internal projects.
Establishes communication with external departments, corporate sites, agencies, and clients.
Cleans and organizes work area, instruments, and testing materials.
Performs all functions in strict compliance with SOP's, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices and Safety Guides.
Qualifications
Experience performing analytical tests within the pharmaceutical industry.
Manage multiple tasks.
Able to work independently.
Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations.
Good skills writing general documentation in English.
Knowledge of MS Office applications is a plus.
Bilingual (both English/Spanish).
Education & Certifications
BS in Chemistry with 1 to three years of related experience in the pharmaceutical QC laboratory.
