Job Description Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst role is primarily responsible for:
• Perform month-end close and related reporting requirements
• Analyze monthly variances and prepare summary reports for management presentations
• Lead/Collaborate across business functions on annual budget preparation, standard setting, and forecasting
• Perform ad hoc reporting on a periodic basis as requested
• Develop operating procedures/systems to improve financial and management reporting as required
• Assist with financial modeling for various investment proposals
• Assist with ensuring compliance with corporate financial policies and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
• Leverage financial dashboard productivity metrics to aid and influence plant leadership decisions to optimize the financial health of the plant

Responsibilities
Perform month-end close and related reporting requirements
Analyze monthly variances and prepare summary reports for management presentations
Lead/Collaborate across business functions on annual budget preparation, standard setting, and forecasting
Perform ad hoc reporting on a periodic basis as requested
Develop operating procedures/systems to improve financial and management reporting as required
Assist with financial modeling for various investment proposals

Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience to include, but not limited to financial reporting, month-end duties, forecasting, and annual reports.
Proficiency in Excel
Ability to lead, coordinate and track multiple ongoing projects
CPA / CMA preferred (or working toward designation)
JDE/SAP experience a plus
Self-Starter, ability to thrive in complex situations
Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable objectives across business functions
Work Environment / Travel
This Senior Financial Analyst role will support the Irvine, CA facility
H ybrid role between home and office based out of our BD Warwick, RI location
Travel limited to 1-2 times/year for site visits
