Deloitte Continuity Exercise Planner in Washington, District Of Columbia

Work you'll do
In this role you will support a continuity of operations (COOP) and continuity of government (COG) focused exercise team with all phases of the exercise planning cycle including design, development, conduct, and post-exercise reporting for operations-based exercises in accordance with HSEEP methodology.
Key responsibilities may include:
Applying HSEEP principles to design, develop, and deliver exercises that may range from tabletops to functional exercises.
Supporting various aspects of exercise planning, including logistics, scheduling, and participant coordination.
Participating in all appropriate planning meetings, taking detailed notes, and providing briefings to government staff on outcomes of meetings.
Supporting the development of a wide range of exercise materials and documentation such as Situation Manuals (SitMan), Exercise Plans (ExPlan), Exercise Evaluation Guides (EEG), and Master Scenario Events Lists (MSEL).
Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop exercise objectives, design storylines, and identify simulation needs.
Participating in post-exercise evaluations and hot wash discussions and incorporate feedback into after-action reports and improvement plans.
Supporting the development of exercise toolkits and resources for use by State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial government (SLTT) stakeholders.

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility security clearance required.
Must be located in the Washington DC area and willing to come onsite in the Washington DC area.
HSEEP certification
3+ years of experience with the Exercise Planning Cycle
3+ years of experience in exercise planning and execution through application Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) methodology
3+ years of experience with emergency management, continuity policy and planning concepts
Preferred:
- Level I Professional Continuity Practitioner certification strongly preferred
