Shire Launch Excellence and Planning Lead International in Zug, Switzerland

Primary Duties

Lead execution of GMA strategic planning and budgeting processes at the international/region levels, in alignment with corporate, business unit and regional planning and budgeting processes

Implement international / regional medical affairs projects and events in the region supporting overall GMA strategy and provide project management support to IMA Head

Support the IMA Head in defining Region/Country priorities, and in designing and implementing projects with strategic impact

Support the IMA Head in management reporting and meeting preparation

Lead team of Regional planning managers

Responsibilities

International business operation and planning

Lead execution of IMA planning, reporting and budgeting processes at the international level, in alignment with corporate, business unit and regional planning and budgeting processes

Implement international / regional medical affairs projects and events in the region supporting overall GMA strategy and provide project management support to the IMA Head

Support the IMA Head in defining Region/Country priorities, and in designing and implementing projects with strategic impact

Support the implementation and clarification of launch excellence framework in-line with global / international framework as necessary

Continuously work with the Regional Planning Leads to improve existing processes across GMA, and propose, design, and implement

Support the IMA Head in management reporting and meeting preparation

Education and Experience

BS degree in a related field in Science or Engineering. An advanced degree (e.g. MBA, PhD or PharmD) is highly desirable.

Minimum 8-10 years of related work experience; biopharmaceutical industry is preferred

Experience in Medical Affairs is preferred

Demonstrated ability to work without routine supervision to deliver key accountabilities

Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, operations, management consulting or related activities is required

Experience in project management supporting cross-functional, global teams
