Amazon Program Manager, Global Manufacturing & Operations Engineering in 31, China
Description
The Global Manufacturing & Operations Engineering group is looking for an individual who is passionate about driving cost innovation and continuous improvement. We are a critical part of the product development process, especially during ramp and mass production phase. We ensure successful fulfillment for product launches and are responsible for the sustaining phase of our products, grow the capabilities of our current systems to meet our needs, and drive continuous improvement for the company.
· Manage our Capital Expenditure of mass production. Drive and follow up strong cost saving programs in line with the cost targets set by the organization
· Work together with factory to drive less labor dependency and cost down, while supporting our product roadmaps, seasonality and Customer promise ambitions.
· Support and contribute to Global Operations initiatives towards optimizing our industrial set up.
· Problem solve and explore solutions to current processes and systems.
· Coordinate with cross functional teams to implementation.
· Drive continuous improvement programs
· Support other program and other company’s initiative.
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with end to end product delivery
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience as a product manager or owner
Experience owning technology products
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
