- [Participate in the development of the quality inspection system. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" serif"=""}
- [Perform incoming inspection on supplied composite material.]{times="" new="" roman",="" serif"=""}
- [Perform in-process inspection during the layup process for composite material.]{times="" new="" roman",="" serif"=""}
- [Perform final inspection on completed composite parts.]{times="" new="" roman",="" serif"=""}
- [Perform final inspection on the completed Work Order paperwork package.]{times="" new="" roman",="" serif"=""}
- [Perform adhoc part and process inspections.]{times="" new="" roman",="" serif"=""}
[Required ]{times="" new="" roman",="" serif"=""}
[Two+ years of on-the-job aerospace experience in mechanical inspection or a related field.]{times="" new="" roman",="" serif"=""}
[Must have 2+ years' experience in composite inspection or fabrication]{times="" new="" roman",="" serif"=""}
[A high-school diploma or GED or an additional three years of related on-the-job experience is necessary. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" serif"=""}
[Must know basic quality terms, definitions and concepts. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" serif"=""}
[Must know basic statistical terms and techniques, how to plot data and how to recognize out-of-control conditions. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" serif"=""}
[Must know the definition of plan-do-check-act (PDCA) and understand the team concept. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" serif"=""}
[Must understand types of measurement, measurement terminology and the different types of measurement scales. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" serif"=""}
[Must know the difference between accuracy and precision and be able to select the appropriate measuring tools and techniques. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" serif"=""}
[Must know how to measure using surface plate layouts and other hand tools such as calipers, and micrometers. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" serif"=""}
[Must be able to identify/recognize inspection errors and initiate resolution. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" serif"=""}
