PeaceHealth is seeking a compassionate and skilled Dietitian I Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day to join our dynamic Nutrition Services team in Sedro-Woolley, WA. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $31.70-$47.54. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Job Summary
As a Dietitian, you will play an essential role in providing evidence-based nutrition assessments, counseling, and education to patients and the community. Essential Functions
Competent use of the Nutrition Care Process including nutrition assessment, identification of nutritional diagnosis, implementation of appropriate nutrition intervention, and formulation of patient specific goals, monitoring, evaluation, and follow up of outcomes.
Using evidence-based nutrition practice guidelines, will provide nutrition education to patients and families in the outpatient and/or inpatient settings.
Provides consult services to other healthcare providers and participates in the interdisciplinary team.
Documents in the EMR in accordance with policies, procedures and regulations.
When appropriate, makes referrals to other services, agencies and community resources.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
Master's Degree Required: in a related field of study. Caregivers who earned their RD license before 1/1/2024 when a bachelor's degree was sufficient will be grandfathered.
Required: Successful completion of AND approved internship/training program
Required within 90 Days: Registered Dietitian Required at hire or must pass Registration Exam and
May be required: Certified Dietitian - Washington Required for Outpatient Dietitians in WA. Inpatient Dietitians are not required to maintain state certification in WA or

Ability to interact with a variety of departments and work independently on numerous projects simultaneously. (Required)
Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient’s needs. (Required)
