Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to build, maintain, and manage CI/CD and DSO processes within the Parsons Paladin lab .
What You'll Be Doing:
Join a specialized team that develops and supports multiple projects and platforms that integrate and work together to provide operational and developmental support for multiple programs out of the Parsons Paladin lab.
Apply deep knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and various Linux distributions (Rocky, RHEL, Ubuntu) to manage, deploy, and scale applications and solutions across both cloud and on-premise development and enterprise environments.
Assist in driving the development of new tools and solutions tailored to meet evolving customer needs, leveraging expertise in code and other DevOps technologies
Collaborate in agile scrum cycles, contributing to design sessions, conducting peer reviews, and providing support for testing and documentation
Employ a broad range of DevOps tools including Gitlab, Atlassian suite, SonarQube, etc. to ensure continuous improvement and high-quality application delivery
Optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficiency and security while proactively identifying and addressing software vulnerabilities to maintain a robust and secure environment.
Integrating with other projects on multiple Agile Release Trains (ART’s) to enable automated operations.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Must have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, OR sufficient certifications and experience
Minimum 7+ years of experience working within DevOps environment
Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with cloud-based platforms including deploying and managing applications in cloud environments
Proficiency with DevSecOps tools and CI/CD: Atlassian suite, GitLab, SonarQube
Experience with vulnerability management and patching, RMF 2.0 experience a plus
Familiarity with Agile and SAFE methodologies
Proficient with multiple UNIX/Linux distributions (Rocky, RHEL, Ubuntu) and able to troubleshoot across various operating systems.
Experience in leveraging virtualization technologies and familiar with the deployment and management of virtual infrastructures (VMware/vCenter)
Strong understanding of networking concepts
U.S. Citizenship
Active TS (SCI eligible) security clearance

Salary Range:
$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
