SAIC Senior Test Engineer in ABERDEEN, Maryland
Description
SAIC has an immediate need for a Senior Test Engineer and support the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDEVCOM), Engineering and Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate, Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) Branch.
Position is located onsite at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
Supports test events and activities to maintain test efficiency and workflow
Establishes and maintains an excellent working relationship with a diverse workforce team
Assists development of test plans, test readiness reviews and test reports
Plans, organizes, and manages day-to-day test operations
Analyzes requirements and develops recommendations concerning in support of test activities
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree with fifteen (15) years of experience; four (4) years of additional experience accepted in lieu of degree
Required Skills:
Develops and executes test plans, test cases, and test procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements
Develops test plans, test schedule, and approach
Writes test cases and scripts and identifies data for test scenarios
Performs tests of software and/or IT systems to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects
Performs verification activities on work products using defined methods, procedures and criteria with an appropriate verification environment
Documents and communicates test results
Supports analysis of test results and resolution of open issues
Documents and works to resolve all complex problems.
Reports progress on problem resolution to management.
Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future
Required Clearance:
- Active Top Secret security clearance with ability to maintain TS/SCI
