Description

Role Overview:
As Assembler, you will be responsible for the assembly of the Integrated Visual Augmentation System (IVAS) into cases. IVAS is the Army’s real-life heads-up display goggles that provide target acquisition, monitor the soldier's health, and mark friendly and enemy units. IVAS promises to change the future of warfare as we know it by giving the infantry a real-life heads-up display. The Assembler will read blueprints and assemble the IVAS cases according to those plans. The ideal candidate will possess critical thinking ability, be detail-oriented, and be meticulous in the execution of tasks.
General Skillset
Experience with Microsoft Office
Verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work both collaboratively and individually
Critical Thinking Skills
Ability to give presentations and briefings as needed
Specific Skillset
Prior experience in a warehouse setting and working with power tools
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Experience with hand tools, reading and interpreting assembly prints/drawing, and reading and adhering to written instructions
Prior experience working in a physically demanding position
Willingness to work in a team setting with other logistics professionals
Requirements
Education & Certifications
- Highschool Diploma, or GED is preferred
Experience Requirements
3+ years of hands-on assembly experience
Demonstrated experience following blueprints and instructions
