Summary This position is located at Aberdeen Proving Ground. This position is a Flexible (Flex) position and there are 0 guaranteed hours per week. Flex employees are not entitled to leave or benefits. There is no upper limit to the number of hours a flexible employee may work (subject to overtime obligations and work scheduling requirements). Responsibilities Serves as Automotive Detailer performing duties independently or as a member of a work crew in an auto craft shop. Maintains, adjusts, cleans, lubricates and changes attachments on vehicle cleaning equipment. Washes and waxes vehicles using ladders and high pressure sprayers. Uses industrial cleaners to clean, protect, and deodorize vehicle interiors, windows, mirrors, and fixtures. Makes minor cosmetic repairs to vehicles. Loads and unloads supplies; moves materials using hand trucks or dollies; stacks and arranges supplies for storage; collects refuse and recyclable. materials. Responsible for inventory and replenishes supplies as necessary. Reports facility condition to supervisor including the need for repairs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Qualifications: 1. Three (3) month of experience directly related to the duties to be performed or experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the describedduties above. 2. Ability to lift 40lbs. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
