+-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+ | | | +-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+ | | Hill Resources is looking to fill | | | Direct Care Staff positions in | | | Abilene, Texas. | | | | | | Essential Functions: | | | | | | - Provides continuous active | | | treatment which includes | | | aggressive, consistent | | | implementation of a program | | | of specialized and generic | | | training | | | - Ensures the Individuals they | | | serve receive medications as | | | prescribed and delegated by | | | the appropriate RN | | | - Provides appropriate | | | supervision of the | | | Individuals | | | - Assisting Individuals in | | | ensuring they consume healthy | | | and nutritious meals as | | | indicated by their dietary | | | requirements | | | - Provide needed/required | | | assistance in completing ALL | | | Individuals daily hygiene | | | activities | | | - Ensures Individuals dress | | | appropriately and are well | | | groomed | | | - Provide transportation to and | | | from activities of daily | | | living and socialization | | | activities as needed | | | - Ensure participation of the | | | Individuals in socialization | | | activities with their peers | | | while in the home and | | | community setting | | | - Provide redirection during | | | inappropriate behaviors as | | | indicated by individual | | | behavior plans and SRIs | | | - Assist in mobility including | | | lifting and assisting with | | | transfers when adaptive | | | equipment is utilized | | | - Provide assistance as needed | | | or required for Individuals | | | to participate in | | | emergencies, and facility | | | evacuations | | | - Provide | | | direction/training/assistance | | | to the Individual in | | | completing training goals as | | | indicated by their program | | | plans | | | - Completes accurate | | | documentation within the | | | required timelines for | | | progress notes, incident | | | reports, data collection | | | forms and other forms as | | | directed by the program plan | | | - Observes all safety rules and | | | regulations maintaining a | | | healthy and safe environment | | | at all times for the | | | Individuals | | | - Maintains a professional and | | | neat appearance, communicates | | | effectively and appropriately | | | with Individuals, peers, and | | | supervisors, and adheres to | | | the expected standards of | | | performance | | | - Maintains a good working | | | relationship with | | | Individuals, peers, and | | | supervisors | | | - And all other duties assigned | | | | | | [ Knowledge and Skills: | | | ]{#ctl00Mai | | | ncontent_lblJobDescriptionValue} | | | | | | - Communication skills both | | | written and oral | | | - Knowledge of the ICF program | | | as it applies to specific job | | | duties | | | - Ability to handle multiple | | | tasks effectively and | | | efficiently | | | - High School Diploma/GED or | | | equivalent experience and | | | competency | | | - Valid Texas Driver's license | | | and good driving record | | | | | | Hill Resources is an Equal | | | Opportunity Em
