The position of Senior FP&A Analyst is within our International Toxicology Finance Function located in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. This role will report directly to Finance Director, International Toxicology and would suit a candidate wanting to accelerate their development in a role with a wide remit and access to senior stakeholders in the business.
The role will act as the assistant controller to the Finance Director, International Toxicology to consolidate, review and add insight to reporting from all International markets, working closely with the wider Toxicology FP&A team.
In addition this role will be responsible for development, production and monitoring of key business KPIS and margin initiatives. As well as taking a leading role in balance sheet and cashflow review and improvements.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:
Qualified accountant ACA with Post Qualified Experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
Strong computer skills especially MS Office (Advanced Excel skills essential)
Able to interact with key stakeholders at a senior level
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in large multinational corporation
Experience of Hyperion and SAP is an advantage
Experience completing or reviewing financial consolidations
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completion of monthly financial reporting and analysis for the International market, including partnering with the regional finance leads to produce high quality variance analysis
Responsibility for co-ordinating and consolidating the financial planning process and submissions, supporting with preparation of templates and presentations to be reviewed at a BU leadership level
Supporting regional finance leaders as required with ad hoc projects, forecast data loads
Business partner to International Marketing Director
Provision of support and finance data to the International Commercial Director
Consolidation, review and improvement of the daily, monthly and weekly revenue reporting to support commercial growth and inform accurate revenue projections.
Responsibility for the forecasting and reporting of Margin improvement and Pricing projects, as well as influencing and supporting the regional finance teams as required.
Ownership of the balance sheet oversight and cash flow metrics reporting
Development, production & monitoring of Commercial KPIs to drive commercial accountability, efficiency and effectiveness
Development, production & monitoring of Operational KPIs to drive operational efficiency and cost saving
Responsibility for managing and maintaining the commercial Qlickview/PowerBi dashboard including implementing control process for accuracy and integrity of data
Providing reliable financial information to support business change projects, and the opportunity to manage finance lead projects.
