Amec Foster Wheeler PMC Senior Contracts Engineer in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Wood is currently bidding for a large-scale oil and gas project with ADNOC. Should we be awarded this work, we will have a requirement for a PMC Senior Contracts Engineer to join us. This position will be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE initially for a very short period until it relocates to Europe or South Korea.
Communicate commercial / procurement and contractual risks, threats and issues to both Wood and client
Ability to work alone and in a team to achieve objectives and deliver result
Competent with MS Office, standard business software and the use of metrics to monitor and report on all tasks in progress
The ability to overview situations, review and evaluate, and provide appropriate advice and guidance
Problem solving at a strategic level, working with others to reach a resolution
Establish and maintain long-term working relationships with client and EPC Contractors
Support the commercial teams in the commercial management of the EPC Contractors contracts
Negotiate contract changes, handle claims , procurement activities and ensuring that the agreements with the EPC Contractors meet client contracting requirements
Intervene, analyse, manage and resolve business conflicts between Wood, client and the EPC Contractors
To provide both advice and support other teams in terms of the legal threats and obligations place
Bachelor Degree in Engineering
Minimum of 15 years of experience within the oil and gas industry
