Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist

Job Description

As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will be responsible for taking a part from print to finished product independently. You will receive a drawing, set your own vices, select tooling/material, and download the correct program to run the part. Parts vary in size from 2in to 24in, mostly made of stainless steel. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings from engineering, collaborating with engineering to improve machining processes, performing full setups on machines, troubleshooting machines, working with tight tolerances of +- .0002, conducting first piece inspection with CMM machine and gauging tools, and using the autocrib system. You will handle 3 setups per week, managing 2 machines at a time.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Addison, Illinois.

Work Environment

The shop floor is very clean, well-lit, and organized. The facility includes 5 vertical milling centers (HAAS), and 5 3-5 axis turning centers (HAAS and Mori).
