Robert Half Senior Human Generalist in Addison, Illinois

Description

We are in search of a proficient Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our client's team in Addison, Illinois. In this role, you will be instrumental in handling various HR-related tasks, from employee relations to policy implementation and employment law compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the development and implementation of organizational policies and actively participating in maintaining the employee handbook

• Collaborating with the HR Coordinator to conduct new employee orientations and oversee on-the-job and other training programs

• Providing support to multiple worksites throughout the US, both remotely and in-person

• Overseeing the performance management process and program

• Contributing to the development of department goals, objectives, and systems

• Providing employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and handling exit interviews

• Proposing new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually enhance the efficiency of the department and services offered

• Offering guidance and advice to both leadership and staff in areas of performance management and employee engagement to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

• Advocating for and promoting company-wide initiatives that bolster employee growth, performance, engagement, and development

• Maintaining human resource information system records and compiling reports from the database

• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations

• Responding to Requests for Separation Information for unemployment claims and participating in hearings as appropriate

• Administering leave of absence and FMLA/STD/LTD programs in accordance with applicable laws

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist.

• Proficient in using ADP - Financial Services.

• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is required.

• Demonstrated ability to manage Benefit Functions.

• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong understanding of Compliance regulations and standards within HR.

• Proven experience in managing Employee Relations.

• Experience with FMLA administration and management.

• Ability to monitor Employee performance effectively.

• Skilled in Employee performance management techniques.

• Experience in Policy development and implementation within HR.
