About the role
We are seeking a technically proficient Computer Systems specialist to support L3Harris in the deployment of an operational and mission-critical capability for the Royal Australian Air Force and commonwealth government. Working with a highly skilled and motivated team, the Computer Systems Administrator plays a vital role in the operation and maintenance of the project.
This role is responsible for computer software installation of patches, maintenance and configuration of records. Your day to day will involve such tasks as preforming daily startups and shutdowns in reference to the squadron operations, resolving user issues as escalated by your commonwealth stakeholders, conducting repairs and replacement activities and troubleshooting faults in post operation reviews.
About you
To be successful in this role and to best leverage the opportunities provided by L3Harris, some skills & experience ideal applicants will bring include;
Positive Vetting Australian Defence Security Clearance
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to install patches, configure records and gain software licenses.
Prior experience in aerospace or Defence industry
Skilled with troubleshooting and maintenance of complex systems.
Strong communication skills orally and written.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
