Data Advisory Consultants – Applied Intelligence

We have opportunities across different verticals within our Data Advisory, such as Data Strategy and Data Governance.

Your role in Data Strategy

  • Act as a key contributor in critical situations within your area of expertise either internally for Accenture or at client engagements.

  • Articulate business impact and benefits of advanced analytics solutions via business/scientific storytelling and advanced visualization techniques.

  • Work with clients to understand how data and analytics can help their businesses realize value, working across industry sectors (e.g. financial services, resources, telco, retail, health, or public sector industries)

  • Develop compelling data stories through dashboards, analytical tools, or PowerPoint to provide guidance to senior client leadership

  • Create business cases that support ROI decisions in relation to data and analytics capabilities

  • Understand and break down client problems, bringing an understanding of leading technology, analytics methods and tools and operating model approaches

Your role in Data Governance

  • Provide thought leadership on how clients can achieve their data management strategies and objectives

  • Assist our clients to define data governance frameworks, processes, policies, standards, and controls

  • Apply operational knowledge in the use of meta-data management, data quality, and data stewardship tools and platforms

  • Constructively challenge requirements and current state to increase overall value to the firm

  • Drive reviews to ensure data products and services meet data governance requirements.

  • Manage data catalogues and data quality technologies

Set Yourself Apart: Skills & Experience.

We are looking to speak with candidates who can show some of the following attributes and skills.

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis and applied quantitative work (including knowledge of Python, R and/or other programming languages)

  • Proven experience within management consulting and the ability to effectively advise clients and manage stakeholders

  • Progressive knowledge of data quality management, information architecture and governance design and implementation

  • An understanding of key data and analytics technologies

  • Experience in managing enterprise data assets in a large, complex organization

  • Understanding of cloud and data management trends, including open source projects, and leading commercial vendors that relate to data acquisition, management, and the semantic web

  • Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to develop pragmatic solutions to address clients’ most pressing challenges.

Core Technical Skills:

  • Data analysis, data visualization

  • Cloud technologies e.g. AWS, GCP or Azure

  • Big data frameworks such as data lake, relational, Graph and other no-SQL databases

Salary range for this role: $90,000-$130,000
