Spectra Tech, LLC, is currently looking for a Graphic Designer I to work on a government project at Adelphi Laboratory Center (ALC) in Adelphi, Maryland. This position is full-time and onsite at Adelphi Laboratory Center.
Responsibilities/Duties
This position will have front line contact with internal and external customers, requiring active problem solving and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Candidate will be required to perform the following:
Complete graphic design projects included but not limited to books, posters, brochures, banner stands, online graphics and presentations as scheduled by team leads
Produce work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and client expectations for creativity and accuracy
Prepare files for production and communicate with team leaders to ensure accurate job fulfillment
Work closely with other design professionals to share best practices
Complete weekly project status reports and provide them to the Contract Program Manager
Required Experience
U.S. Citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Secret Clearance
1+ year of relevant working experience in a graphic design or website development role
Strong familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
Excellent customer service and communication skills are required
Strong attention to detail is required

- Experience with other graphic design applications
