Zantech is looking for a talented Host Based Security System (HBSS) Engineer to support network security by managing HBSS, conducting malware investigations, and ensuring compliance with Army and DoD cybersecurity regulations.
General Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage HBSS for network devices, conduct malware investigations, and escalate issues for further investigation and remediation.
Use VBA in Microsoft Excel for vulnerability management, rogue device management, 8570 Compliance, Cyber Awareness compliance, and user verification.
Automate key functions related to scanning, HBSS management, and ISSO actions.
Ensure compliance with Army and DoD cybersecurity regulations (AR 25-2, 8570, etc.) and perform risk assessments.
Develop and update SOPs for various procedures to ensure continuity and prevent single points of failure.
Assist in preparing for audits, inspections, and accreditation, and act as the main point of contact for the Information Assurance Manager office for user requests.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related field
IAM II Certification (CAP, CASP+CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO, HCISPP)
5+ years of experience
Experience with ACAS, HBSS, Tanium, eMASS
Required Security Clearance:
- US Citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret Clearance per contract requirements.
