ABOUT THE ROLE

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst with a focus on pricing strategy. The role benefits from a strong analytical mindset, solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments. Key responsibilities include analyzing market trends, refining pricing strategies, and offering actionable insights to help drive the company’s sales and profitability goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with company objectives and market conditions. Evaluate and adjust pricing models based on market trends, competitive analysis, and cost considerations.

  • Conduct thorough market research to monitor industry trends about competitor pricing and customer behavior. Utilize data to identify opportunities and threats and recommend strategic pricing adjustments with the sales organization.

  • Analyze sales data, pricing performance, and customer profitability metrics. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis for members of senior leadership that support business decision making.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization including inside sales, outside sales, and regional leadership.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, Power Bi, and pricing software.

  • Experience working with e-commerce is preferred.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
