Job Title: Reach Truck Operator
Job Description
Working in the warehouse side of the production facility, you will palletize boxes of chips and wrap them after they have been packaged. You will spend the majority of your day on the forklift, about 70-80% of your shift. Your tasks include racking large skids in tall racking systems, loading and unloading docked trailers, pulling customer orders, and receiving inbound orders in our WMS system.
Hard Skills
1 year Stand Up forklift Experience (Crown Brand) dock stocker preferred or reach OR 3+ years standard Raymond reach or dockstocker
Lifting 10-20lbs
WMS system or computer knowledge
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Airdrie, Alberta.
Work Environment
Upon entering the warehouse, you must put on a lab coat and full face/head hair mask, then wash and dry your hands at the hand wash station. The facility is slightly warm from the fryers, however, forklift operators won't be working directly in the production area but right outside, going in and out of production doors on the forklift to pick up fully packed products. Being a food manufacturing facility, it's incredibly clean and tidy.
