ZAK DESIGNS INC Production Assembler in Airway Heights, Washington
SUMMARY: Assembles dinnerware and flatware into sets and displays, pre-prices product to match customer needs. Performs first line quality assurance procedures on all product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
• Obtains and Un-packages product
• Examines product for defects
• Assembles and Packages product
• Pre-prices product as necessary
• Shrink wraps product as necessary
• General clean up of Production Room, conveyor, tape machine, tables, etc.
• Assists in the unloading of trucks and in the warehousing of product
• Assembles display corrugation
• Breaks out product from masters to inners for key customers

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, shipping documents, and memos. Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Be able to speak and understand simple sentences.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out simple instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or limited variables.
