CHILDRENS HOSPITAL MEDICAL CENTER OF AKRON ACP Operations and Strategic Planner in Akron, Ohio

Full-time, 40 hours/week Variable day shift Onsite Summary: Directly supports the strategic initiatives and operations of the organization by facilitating the development and growth of our Primary Care Network. This position functions as the lead on all new ACHP Acquisitions and new ACHP offices. Responsibilities will include ACHP growth, Quick Care On-Line, ACHP Core Metric tracking and operational support. Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with the Primary Care Service Line leadership to efficiently help drive the service line initiatives. Functions independently and/or leads a team of people in planning and organizing several tasks that must be accomplished by a specific date. Must have excellent organization and communication skills to ensure successful implementation of multiple simultaneous projects. Works across several departments of ACH. Participates in and leads weekly project meetings. Responsible for all operational elements of a new ACHP. Onboards new providers and staff from acquisitions and new ACHP. Operationally assists with specialty projects as needed. Creates detail project documentation such as project plans, charters, DEP submission, and GL ledgers. Responsible for several ACHP core metrics and tracking. Monitors projects and provides summary status report to Director of Operations. Participates in Operations Meetings as it relates to project updates and roll out. Other duties as assigned. Other information: Technical Expertise Experience working with all levels within the organization is required. Able to work with outside vendors (architects, construction, telecom). Strong written and verbal communication skills, time management, problem solving, and team management skills are required. Experience in healthcare is required. Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] EMRs and or Epic. Education and Experience Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field required. Experience: 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Experience: 3-5 years direct supervisory experience or project management preferred.
