Role Objective Design scalable data architecture solutions. Assess GOJO's potential data sources (internal and external), and design plans to integrate, centralize, secure, and maintain them. Provide hands-on implementation and support for data management systems. Serve as a backup to data engineers and DBAs, assisting with their tasks and ensuring continuity of operations. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Create a fluid, end-to-end architectural vision for how data will flow through an organization, ensuring efficient data management and utilization Collaborate with IT teams, management, and stakeholders to devise a data strategy that meets industry requirements and aligns with business goals Assess current data management technologies and recommend improvements or new solutions Engage with team members to determine the scope and limitations of projects, ensuring clear and achievable objectives Design, document, implement and maintain enterprise data tools and technologies to facilitate end-to-end data movement and transformation Build and maintain an inventory of data necessary to implement the architecture effectively Create and refine data models, ensuring they meet organizational needs Implement measures to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and security, adhering to best practices and compliance requirements Integrate DevOps and agile development methodologies to ensure flexibility, rapid iteration, and continuous improvement in data architecture projects Monitor, refine and report on the performance of data management systems Produce and enforce data development standards, promoting consistency and quality across projects Develop strategic partnerships with business resources to support core processes and data initiatives Ensure the continuous operation and performance of both on-premises and cloud-based systems Support Oracle and SQL Server relational databases Utilization of advanced data analysis, including statistical analysis, data science techniques, and use of computational packages such as SAS, R, SPSS, AI, and machine learning Establishes standards and guidelines for the design & development, tuning, deployment and maintenance of information, advanced data analytics, and text mining Implement and adhere to master data management policies and procedures Research new technology and implement as appropriate. Ensure existing systems and tools are upgraded and supported Develop and maintain internal and external relationships with stakeholders and vendors providing customer-focused service Ensure data accuracy, quality, best practices, and standards are being followed Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering) preferred In lieu of or with degree, minimum five (5) years' experience with Data Warehouse and BI systems; extensive experience for collecting business requirements from customers, and transforming the requirements into actionable projects and tasks Proficiency in managing SQL Server and Oracle required Extensive expertise in relational database, as well as data modeling, both logica
