JOB TITLE: Data Analyst

MUSTS: Possess a solid foundation in statistics and practical experience with statistical software (such as Excel and Google Docs and Spreadsheets). Exhibit exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness. Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights. Demonstrate superior communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background. Highly organized and focused Able to adhere to multiple deadlines Able to follow up and communicate to gain necessary documents or information Able to work as a member of a team Proficiency in the use of technology for: Word processing Databases Spreadsheets Creating charts Email Internet Online meeting platforms A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a comparable discipline or equivalent prior experience in data analysis or a related field.

SKILLS: The Data Analyst systematically collects, processes, and performs statistical analyses on data sets. The Data Analyst's responsibilities include but is not limited to:

Data Cleaning and Preparation: This involves filtering the data, handling missing values, and preparing the dataset for analysis to ensure accuracy and relevance. Data Exploration and Analysis: Analysts use statistical tools and techniques to explore and analyze data, identifying patterns, relationships, and trends. Data Visualization: Create visual representations of data findings through charts, graphs, and dashboards to make the data understandable at a glance. Reporting: Data analyst prepares reports and presentations to communicate the insights and findings from the data to stakeholders, Adelante funders, La Puente's Development team and the Adelante FRC Director. Collaboration: Provide onboarding training to all staff required to collect and enter data into the La Puente and Adelante data base systems. To work closely with case managers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data collection and entry. Review client files for thoroughness and compliance and provide reports to the Adelante Director and case managers to ensure high quality data collection and data entry into the La Puente and Adelante databases. To ensure case managers complete assessments timely per grant protocols. Other Duties: Working Together Program Organizes monthly Working Together Collaboration meetings Completes agenda and meeting minutes to provide to collaborative partners Compiles data and reports for the State Funder and Collaborative partners. Completes participant reports to present for each Working Together collaboration meeting

WAGES: $37,800.00 - $40,000.00 per year
