Position Overview:

Provide supervision of retail sales associates in a manner that ensures a positive customer service experience is provided in a prompt and professional manner. Responsible for sales and service training of supervised personnel. Coordinates the daily activities of sales associates engaged in promoting and selling Mediacom’s services.

    Position Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for hiring, attendance, evaluations, promotions, and disciplinary actions. Manage multiple offices

  • Motivate and provide guidance to team to achieve sales and retention goals by following established department policies and procedures.

  • Monitor sales associates to determine a high quality of performance and ensure good customer relations.

  • Assist retail sales associates with escalated customer needs.

  • Track and analyze individual and departmental performance to maximize production in retention areas, revenue production, and enhance subscriber communications.

  • Responsible for providing and analyzing daily, weekly, and monthly reports detailing departmental activity and performance as requested by the retail sales manager.

  • Respond to customer inquiries/complaints, and ensure that appropriate action is taken including follow up with customers and staff.

  • Neat with self and work area, and conducts self in a respectable, responsible, and courteous manner.

  • Regular Attendance required.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    Position Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred.

  • Required – 2 years’ customer service or retail supervisory experience.

  • Preferred – 3+ years’ experience

  • Must possess excellent listening, verbal and written communications skills including good grammar and a well-modulated speaking voice. Must be computer literate.

  • Adeptness in handling customer complaints

  • Possess excellent organizational and office skills and be detailed oriented.

  • Able to coordinate with multiple management levels and groups, work in a high-pressure environment with all types of people, and establish good teamwork ability.

  • Able to analyze and solve problems in a changeable work environment.

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.

  • Regional/Area travel is required.

  • Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
