Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeping, Accounting, and Auditing Clerk in Albany, New York. You will be part of a team that carries out critical functions in the financial industry. Your role is to maintain and process financial information, ensuring accuracy in records and efficiency in the workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Handle bookkeeping and accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial records

• Carry out auditing processes to verify the correctness of financial data

• Conduct data entry tasks, specifically numeric entries, to maintain up-to-date records

• Manage payment processing tasks to ensure smooth financial transactions

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status

• Resolve customer inquiries related to financial records and transactions

• Process customer credit applications while ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Maintain accurate customer credit records to ensure correct financial data

• Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate actions when necessary.

Requirements • Proficiency in Auditing, with the ability to thoroughly review and assess financial records.

• Strong understanding and execution of Bookkeeping Functions, including maintaining and updating financial records.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions, including preparing financial statements and managing budgets.

• Demonstrated skills in numeric Data Entry, ensuring accurate and efficient recording of financial information.

• Experience in Payment Processing, including managing invoices, ensuring timely payments, and resolving any discrepancies.

• High attention to detail, with the ability to spot any numerical mistakes or discrepancies in financial data.

• Familiarity with accounting software and platforms, and ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with clients and team members.

• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, to meet deadlines and achieve goals.

• Relevant certification or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
