Description We are in search of a Bookkeeping, Accounting, and Auditing Clerk to join our team based in Albany, New York. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. You will be situated in a dynamic environment where you will handle auditing, bookkeeping, and accounting functions, data entry, and payment processing.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the accurate processing of customer credit applications
• Manage bookkeeping functions to ensure efficient record-keeping
• Carry out auditing tasks to maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial information
• Execute accounting functions, including the preparation of financial reports
• Handle data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy in numeric entries
• Manage payment processing tasks, ensuring timely and accurate processing
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Maintain and update customer credit records accurately
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve set objectives and meet deadlines. Requirements • Proficient in auditing, bookkeeping, and accounting functions
• Skilled in numeric data entry
• Experience with payment processing
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles
• Good computer skills, particularly with accounting software and spreadsheets
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities effectively.
